Originally from Sydney and after a 10 year award winning career as a drag queen showgirl, Kitty Glitter gracefully bowed out of her spotlight on stage and into the DJ booth in 2007. Since then, she has shined on dancefloors not only in Australia & New Zealand, but across Asia, USA, Canada and most recently in Europe and India.
Most loved for her unique blend of remixed pop and uplifting vocal house music, the crowds lick up every bit of sparkle she shines on them at every event she plays at. Whether it be at bar/club or circuit party, Kitty delivers it in flawless fashion.
Consistently in the top 10 most popular downloaded podcasts on Podomatic year round, it is no wonder her loyal fanbase grows with each new city she visits.
A regular at Pride events and festivals around the world, her purrrfect package of glamour and dance music is a highlight for every event she spins at. Her highlights of course include playing for Sydney Mardi Gras Party, year after year , for the past 10 years! Not many Dj’s can claim being booked by the world’s biggest stars to Dj, but in 2012 Kitty was selected as the DJ for a private party Lady Gaga staged for her “Born This Way Ball” cast & crew, and most recently in 2017 she was a guest DJ for Elton John’s CLUB LOVE event in London.
Constantly touring, she is happiest when sharing her love and passion for dance music around the world.
Her playful purrrsona is addictive and everyone knows when Kitty Glitter is on the decks, you’re gonna get caught up in an exhilarating glitter storm!
Stay tuned… the glitterstorm is coming soon to a dancefloor near you!
“Unlike any DJ appearance I’ve ever experienced, Kitty’s debut in the Pines took Fire Island by an unparalleled storm of excitement. The electricity and energy nearly shook the Pavilion off its foundations. The crowds
are still asking when Ms. Glitter will come back to share her light, vibes, and fireworks with the masses. A supernova is born, and the nightlife landscape will never be the same.”
